Company Profile

Texas Industries, Inc. supplies heavy construction materials in the southwestern United States. The company operates through three reportable segments: Cement, Aggregates and Consumer Products. The Cement segment produces and gray portland cement specialty cements, which includes masonry and oil well cements. The Aggregates segment produces natural aggregates, including sand, gravel and crushed limestone. The Consumer Products segment produces readymix concrete and packaged products. Texas Industries was founded by Ralph B. Rogers in 1951 and is headquartered in Dallas, TX.
