The Domestic Wholesale Footwear & Accessories segment operations include the sale of both branded and private label footwear, handbags, small leather goods and costume, semi-precious, sterling silver, and marcasite jewelry. The Domestic Retail segment markets apparel, footwear and accessories directly to consumers through its specialty retail stores operating in malls and urban retail centers, its various value-based stores located in major retail locations, and on several e-commerce web sites that it operates. The International Wholesale segment's operations include the sale of brand-name footwear, handbags, small leather goods, jewelry and apparel to distributors and retailers outside the United States. The International Retail segment markets apparel, footwear and accessories directly to consumers through its specialty retail stores operating in malls and urban retail centers, through its various value-based stores located in major retail locations, through concessions located in department stores and a number of airports and through e-commerce websites accessible to international consumers. The company was founded by Sidney Kimmel in 1970 and is headquartered in New York, NY.
