US Ecology, Inc. engages in the provision of environmental services to commercial and government entities. It operates through the following segments: Waste Solutions; Field Services; and Energy Waste. The Waste Solutions segment include a range of specialty material management services including transportation, recycling, treatment and disposal of hazardous, non-hazardous, E&P and radioactive waste at company-owned landfill, wastewater, deep-well injection, and other treatment facilities. The Field Services segment offers specialty field services and total waste management solutions to commercial and industrial facilities and to government entities through 10-day transfer facilities and at customer sites, both domestic, and international. The Energy Waste segment provides safe and compliant energy waste management and critical support services to up-stream oil and gas customers in the Permian and Eagle Ford basins primarily operating in Texas. The company was founded in 1952 and is headquartered in Boise, ID.
