Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE:WMT) is in the news everyday due to their market strength.
Not only do they offer affordable necessary merchandise, but they also have a prescription plan that is beneficial for the average person. Due to the high cost of medication, Wal-Mart realized that they had to come up with a new way to offer more cost effective prescription plan and as a result they were able to successfully introduce the $4 prescription plan. This plan however covers generic medication but what one should keep in mind is that most generic medication is just the same as the branded ones they are used to.
