Tiger Woods Loses His Grip on Australian Masters

Tiger Woods has lost his last remaining golf title, the Australian masters. The world second ranked Tiger was nine shots behind the title winner Adam Bland.
After 36 holes Tiger fell to 1-under par making 4 bogeys and 3 birdies with winds making Tiger struggle further. This is Tiger’s worst performance after the three year drought which ended in 2005. The last victory for Tiger was 12 months back at the Kingston Heath. This will be the first time in the professional golfing career of Tiger Woods when he is going to begin his new year without a Title. Woods blamed the wind for his bad game.

This drought of titles began after his admitting marital infidelity a year back when he was involved in a little car accident. Since then it’s been getting worse for the 14 time golf major champ in his professional and personal life. His long time sponsors like Accenture (NYSE:CAN) and Procter & Gamble Co. (NYSE:PG) have dropped him as their brand ambassadors along with a few other. Sponsors like Nike (NYSE:NKE) who have held hands so far might rethink their choice of Tiger as their brand ambassador if the same thing continues.
