San Francisco’s New Health Plan

Everyone is aware of major fast food companies kids meal promotion plans. They attract kids with toys and other trinket giveaway with the purchase of their happy meals.

Well San Francisco mayor, Gavin Newsom, is not too thrilled with this idea and had decided to take a stand and veto this plan. This does not come as a shock as many other counties have already set nutritional standards the fast food chains have to meet. While this is great news for parents, McDonald’s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) is none too pleased. McDonald’s will fight this new law as they feel that parents and not politicians should be in charge of what the children are eating.
