Richard Branson Launches Electronic Magazine

Richard Branson’s Virgin (NASDAQ:VMED) is reportedly on the track to launch a daily magazine that is excusive to the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPad. Richard Branson is following on the footsteps of Robert Murdoch who himself is in the process of launching a newspaper for tablets.


The unveiling of Virgin (NASDAQ:VMED) Magazine is set for next week and will be handled by Branson’s daughters Anthony and Hollie. The magazine is focused on entertainment and fun instead of serious affairs which ‘The Daily’ is focused at. Virgin (NASDAQ:VMED) magazine will initially be released only for Apple, but will expand to other tablets from RIM ( NASDAQ:RIMM), Dell (NASDAQ:DELL), Sony (NYSE:SNE) and other major tablet manufacturers.
