American International Group is a holding company, through its subsidiaries, is engaged in insurance and insurance related activities in the United States and abroad.
Abbott Laboratories (NYSE:ABT) hit a new 52 week high of $72.10 in intraday trading and closed at $72.05 +3.79% on 15,738,700 shares traded. Abbott Laboratories is engaged in the discovery, development, manufacture, and sale of a broad and a line of health care products.
Lowe’s Companies (NYSE:LOW) hit a new 52 week high of $32.23 in intraday trading and closed at $32.20 +4.65% on 14,295,400 shares traded. Lowe’s Companies Inc. is a home improvement retailer, which serves homeowners, renters and Commercial Business Customers.
Eli Lilly And Company (NYSE:LLY) hit a new 52 week high of $53.17 in intraday trading and closed at $52.53 +3.81% on 12,885,200 shares traded. Eli Lilly and Company discovers, develops, manufactures, and sells products in one business segment, pharmaceutical products. It also has an animal health business segment.
Merck & Company (NYSE:MRK) hit a new 52 week high of $46.63 in intraday trading and closed at $46.59 +2.51% on 10,281,000 shares traded. Merck & Co., Inc. is a global research-driven pharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, manufactures and markets a range of innovative products to improve human and animal health.
Wal-mart Stores (NYSE:WMT) hit a new 52 week high of $77.35 in intraday trading and closed at $77.15 +2.85% on 9,636,200 shares traded. Wal-Mart Stores Inc is engaged in the operation of retail stores. The Company’s operations comprise three reportable business segments: the Walmart U.S. segment; the Walmart International segment; and the Sam’s Club segment.
American Tower Corp. (NYSE:AMT) hit a new 52 week high of $75.68 in intraday trading and closed at $75.35 +5.13% on 5,277,800 shares traded. American Tower Corp is a wireless and broadcast communications infrastructure company that owns, operates and develops communications sites.
Weyerhaeuser Company (NYSE:WY) hit a new 52 week high of $27.37 in intraday trading and closed at $27.30 +3.88% on 5,122,200 shares traded. Weyerhaeuser Company is a forest products company which mainly grows and harvests trees, builds homes and makes a range of forest products essential to everyday lives.
Conagra Foods (NYSE:CAG) hit a new 52 week high of $28.41 in intraday trading and closed at $28.41 +2.01% on 4,608,200 shares traded. ConAgra Foods, Inc. is a food company, supplying frozen potato and sweet potato products, as well as other vegetable, spice, and grain products to a variety of restaurants, food service operators and commercial customers.
