North Springs Resources appoints New Geological Technical Advisor

NSRS announced that Thomas Callicrate, a Certified Professional Geologist with over 30 years of mineral exploration experience, has been appointed as the Company’s geological technical advisor.


“The addition of a geologist of Thomas Callicrate’s caliber to our team is a major boost for our rapidly growing company,” said Harry Lappa, President of North Springs Resources. “His wide-ranging practical experience and technical knowledge gained with both junior and senior mining companies will give us a significant advantage as we quickly move forward with our current projects and evaluate new potential acquisitions.”

Mr. Callicrate is a Certified Professional Geologist, as well as a Registered Geologist in the State of Washington, Wyoming, and Wisconsin, and brings over 30 years of experience in domestic and international mineral exploration to the Company. Thomas has wide and diverse experience in conducting generative and project level exploration activities for precious metals (gold/silver, PGE’s), base metals, diamonds, gemstones, industrial minerals, and stone commodities. During his successful career, he has been responsible for and associated with the discovery of several precious metal deposits.

Mr. Callicrate recently held positions as co-founder, President, CEO, and Director of Consolidated Goldfields Corporation, a junior gold and silver mining company with properties in Nevada and Idaho. Prior to working for Consolidated Goldfields, Mr. Callicrate co-founded and held positions as Director and Vice President of Exploration with Western Goldfields; Director and President with Mountain Gold Exploration; Director and President with Nevada Natural Stone Supply Inc.; Vice President of Exploration with Trend Mining Company; District Geologist with Romarco Minerals, Inc.; Senior Geologist with Kennecott Exploration; and consulting geologist for Newmont Mining Corporation, Freeport Exploration Company, FMC Gold Company, US Borax and Chemical Company, Nevada Star Corporation, Triumph Gold Mining Company, Union Gold Mining Company, MBA Gold Technology, Inc., Golconda Resources, Ltd., and Placer Development Corp.
