Malls across the United States are preparing for the long shopping weekend ahead and analysts have predicted that a record 138 million people will help to kick of the holiday shopping season. In addition to several attractive deals and savings, at stores like Macy’s, Inc. (NYSE:M), they have also increased their number of employees. Based on predictions, this year is set to show an improvement at mall sores including Macy’s. Due to the current economic situation, customers have been holding back on their spending so the holiday season is bound to make up for some of the lost sales during the year.
