J&J Recalling Benadryl and Motrin

Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) is recalling two of its popular drugs from the market citing insufficiencies in the manufacturing process. The recall is being made for more than 4 million packages of junior strength Motrin and children’s Benadryl Allergy tablets.

The recall is only for the current stock which has only reached wholesalers and retailers. Hence the customers who have the medicine already purchased a week before can safely use them. The recalled medicines do not have any heath safety concerns. There was no immediate effect on the shares of Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ) due to these recalls.
