HJ Heinz Co. Reports Higher Net Income for Q2

HJ Heinz Co. (NYSE:HNZ) has announced its results for the fiscal second quarter of the year. The company has earned 9 percent higher net income for the quarter. HJ Heinz Co. has reported its net income at $251.4 million. On per share basis, the income for the quarter stood at 78 cents. The company had earned 73 cents per share or $231.4 million during the second quarter of the last year.
