Hibbett Sports Inc. (NASDAQ:HIBB) has declared higher profits for its fiscal third quarter of the year. The company has announced that its profit has increased 43 percent. The company also experienced double digit growth in revenue from comparable-store. The company has also bolstered its forecast.

* On per share basis, the company’s net income for the quarter stood at 44 cents.

Hibbett Sports Inc. had earned 30 cents per share or $8.8 million during the corresponding quarter of the last year. The company also increased its revenue 15 percent to $167.4 million. The revenue for the same quarter of the last year was at $145.9 million.

Hibbett Sports Inc. also provided forecast for its fiscal 2011 year. The company is looking to earn between $1.63 and $1.66 per share. The company has earlier predicted its earnings to be in the range of $1.45 and $1.55. Analysts have pegged their earnings estimates for fiscal 2011 at $1.55 per share.

Hibbett Sports Inc. increased its revenue by 12.5% from stores open at least a year.
