Gates Donates More With Britain

Bill Gates, the head of Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT), is not only known for his successful company, but he is also known as one of the most generous billionaires in the corporate world. Until this year, Bill Gates held the title of the richest person in the world, with a net worth of over $78 billion. However due to his generosity and charitable work, he lost the title and currently is known as the second richest man. Bill Gates along with his wife and several other billionaires around the world, have already pledges most of their net worth to charity. In addition, Gates has gone around the world and has asked other billionaires to do the same, in order to provide a better life for people. Bill and Melinda Gates foundation continued to donate to charitable causes and in 2010, the couple donated approximately $28 billion for educational and healthcare improvement, throughout the world. The cofounder of Microsoft has already made it known to the public that he will only hold onto a tiny fraction of his net worth as he will not require the rest of it, in order to provide his family with a good life. According to documents, each of his children will only receive approximately $10 million each, which means that they will have to work for themselves, in order to maintain their standard of living. Due to his charitable work, he is one of the most admired persons in the world and he continues to work with several countries, in order to bring his vision to life. Bill Gates is extremely passionate about medical causes and the need to find adequate cure for diseases as well as provide healthcare to underprivileged children.

As Bill Gates continues to work with various charitable organizations, it has just been announced that he has partnered up for a new charity. According to reports, Bill Gates is teaming up with Britain and donating approximately $2.3 billion, in an effort to provide necessary vaccines for children in poor countries. According to the World Health Organization, children in poor countries do not receive vaccines for common yet life threatening diseases. As a result, child mortality rate remains high and Gates has decided to help those children. The money will be spent to provide vaccination against diseases such as diarrhea and pneumonia. Britain has also confirmed that they will double their pledge from 2015, and help set up an organization in order to take care of those who need it the most.
