Drug Storages Abundant

The FDA released the list of medicines which are in demand because of companies running short in manufacturing. Of these shortages, the most alarming are the shortages of cancer drugs that are causing many patients to postpone chemotherapy.

These scarcities are blamed on increased demand, manufacturing problems, and shortage in active ingredients. Many cancer drugs are a combination of drugs which come from different companies. Hence, if one company fails to produce the required quantity of the needed drug, the final drug falls short of required production. Some of the major pharmaceutical giants like Merck (NYSE:MRK), GlaxoSmithKline (NYSE:GSK), Novartis AG (NYSE:NVS), Pfizer Inc. (NYSE:PFE), etc., are required to speed up production.
