ComScore Reports Holiday Sales

According to ComScore, online shopping will see the largest sales in history this year. ComScore reports that, just in the first three weeks of November, which marks the start of holiday sales, the total revenue earned is over $9 billion. This is amazing news both for the economy and retailers as this will help make up for the lost sales in their stores. Though not every retailer is showing an improvement over last year, economists are optimistic as there are still several weeks remaining before the end of the year. Some of the major sales are from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) with the iPad being the most desirable item and Wal-Mart with low costs and free shipping.
