Bringing the Heat on Stocks like BCRX and DRRX the Last Two Days

Wow, it has been an awesome couple of trading sessions as I was able to to propel my subscribers into November with gains to be admired! Out of 8 alerts, there were 7 winners and 1 that went for even… My first alert was Wednesday morning and BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:BCRX) was falling fast and far, just how I like it – I alerted it at $1.89 and closed out the trade on Twitter at $3.00 for a stellar gain of 58.7%!!

That wasn’t it for Wednesday though as there were opportunities on Vringo, Inc. (AMEX:VRNG) as I talked about yesterday in my blog post… The first alert was at $3.40 and it ran to $3.90; the second alert went for even as I raised the stop loss a penny under the entry point; the third alert was given well before VRNG resumed trading and went as low as $1.77 – one of my subscribers got shares at $1.94 and I gave the sell at $2.6 for a gain of 34%!!

Today I had another 4 alerts, 2 each on Pain Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ:PTIE) and DURECT Corporation (NASDAQ:DRRX)… These stocks fell almost simultaneously, but in enough margin of time to give me the opportunity to alert both of them. PTIE fell first and I spotted it first as it was already on my 11.1 watchlist – it fell to $3.17 for a loss of 32% on the day… I alerted it at $3.30 and closed it out at $3.60 – though it rand to $3.66… The second alert was at $2.92 and I closed that one out at $3.17 – a couple gains worth a little less than 20%.

DRRX had more profit potential as it was a cheaper stock – the first alert was sent out at $.82 and I alerted to close at $1.18 for a gain of 44%!! The second alert was for the echo bounce and I alerted it at $.79 and closed it at $.91 for another 15% on this stock!
