Apple Buys HP’s old Head Quarters

Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ) owned land had been purchased by Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) to aid its expansion. The land is just a five minute drive from the current Infinity Loop campus in Cupertino.  The confirmation came from both Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ) and Apple about this purchase.

This land was used by Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ) as a Briefing Centre. Hewlett Packard (NYSE:HPQ) is moving its offices to Palo Alto and surrounding areas. Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) currently owns 35 acres in Cupertino where there are more than 57 buildings. Steve Jobs is particularly fond of this place since this is where he completed his schooling and this is the place where they first moved out of their garages to.
