Dell Inc. (NASDAQ:DELL) 12.29 +1.41 (12.96%). Reuters states: Dell Inc is in talks with private equity firms on a potential buyout, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters, confirming a Bloomberg report that sent its shares soaring 13 percent to near an eight-month high.

Fifth & Pacific Companies Inc (NYSE:FNP) 14.31 +1.47 (11.45%) said it expect fourth quarter 2012 adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of $63 million to $68 million, resulting in a full year 2012 expectation of $100 million to $105 million, which is at the low end of the range guided previously. Imperial Capital raised target from $17.00 to $18.00

Research In Motion Limited (USA)(NASDAQ:RIMM) 14.95 +1.39 (10.25%) which is about to launch its new operating system Blackberry 10, saw its shares rise more than 10 percent.

Herbalife Ltd. (NYSE:HLF) 44.08 +4.06 (10.14%). Analysts at D.A. Davidson & Co. and Barclays Plc said Herbalife may announce stock repurchases this week when the company reports preliminary earnings for the fourth quarter. D.A. Davidson Reiterates Buy Rating, price target of $72.

Flowers Foods, Inc. (NYSE:FLO) 27.22 +2.39 (9.63%), the parent company of Tastykake snacks, has agreed to buy Wonderbread and other assets from Hostess Brands Inc. for $390 million.

Cirrus Logic, Inc. (NASDAQ:CRUS) 28.62 -2.96 (-9.37%) announced that the company will post its third quarter fiscal year 2013 financial results and business outlook on the investor relations area of its website on Thursday, Jan. 24, at approximately 4 p.m. EST.

Tahoe Resources Inc. (NYSE:TAHO) 17.25 -1.29 (-6.96%) reported that a security patrol at the Escobal project in Guatemala was ambushed by armed criminals shortly after midnight on January 12, resulting in the deaths of two contract security guards.

SunPower Corporation (NASDAQ:SPWR) 7.70 -0.49 (-5.98%) Credit Agricole lowered shares of SunPower (SPWR) from an underperform rating to a sell rating in a report released on Monday. Credit Agricole currently has $6.00 target price on the stock, up from their previous target price of $5.00. Analysts at Lazard Capital Markets upgraded shares of SunPower from a neutral rating to a buy rating.

SolarCity Corp (NASDAQ:SCTY) 14.59 -0.91 (-5.87%) Credit Suisse Initiates Coverage on SolarCity Corp. with Outperform Rating, $22 PT. Needham & Company started coverage on shares of SolarCity Corp (SCTY) in a research report sent to investors on Monday morning. The firm issued a buy rating and a $17.00 price target on the stock. Raymond James started coverage on shares of SolarCity Corp ( SCTY) in a research note released on Tuesday morning. The firm issued a market perform rating on the stock.
