Company Profile

TPI Composites, Inc. is a holding company, which engages in the manufacture of composite wind blades for the wind energy market. It operates through the following segments: United States (US); Asia; Mexico; and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The US segment includes the production of wind blades in Newton, Iowa plant; manufacturing of precision molding and assembly systems used for the manufacture of wind blades in Warren, Rhode Island facility; manufacturing of composite solutions for the transportation industry; engineering center in Kolding, Denmark; and the firm's corporate headquarters. The Asia segment comprises the manufacturing of wind blades at its facility in Taicang Port and Dafeng, China; manufacturing of precision molding and assembly systems at Taicang City, China facility; and wind blade inspection and repair services. The Mexico segment produces wind blades from its facilities in Juárez, Mexico. The EMEA segment produces wind blades from its facilities in Izmir, Turkey. The company was founded by Everett Pearson and Neil Tillotson in 1968 and is headquartered in Scottsdale, AZ.
