ECOtality, Inc. develops electric power cell technology. The company filled a bankruptcy on September 16, 2013. It operates through four business segments: Fuel Cell Store, ECOtality North America, Innergy and International. The Fuel Cell Store segment is an online marketplace for fuel cell-related products and technologies with online distribution sites in the U.S., Japan, Russia, Italy and Portugal. The ECOtality North America segment involves in the research, development and testing of advanced transportation and energy systems with a focus on alternative-fuel, hybrid and electric vehicles and infrastructures. The Innergy segment provides unique power solutions including solar and battery pack manufacturing and assembly, and electric charging station assembly, repair and maintenance. The International segment markets and distributes its Blink and Minit-Charger equipment in Australia. The company was founded on April 21, 1999 and is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ.
