The U.S equity markets, which opened in green, had a great run throughout the day with Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq all remaining in green. Dow Jones ended the day up 0.45% to 10,387.31, S&P 500 ended the day up 0.65% to 1,098.91 and Nasdaq ended the day up 0.90% to 2,228.87.
Shares of Incyte Corporation (NASDAQ: INCY) rose as much as 4% today, following a positive rating for the company stock from an analyst at Collin Stewart. The analyst gave the company stock a ‘Buy’ rating with a price target of $18 implying an upward potential of 18%. The company shares are currently trading up 4.85% to $13.63.
Maynard Um a research analyst at UBS Investment Research today announced that Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) could potentially sell as many as 28 million iPads next year. Markets reacted positively to this news with Apple shares currently up 2.28% to $263.70.
FPB Bancorp Inc (NASDAQ: FPBI) is amongst the biggest gainers of the shares trading on NASDAQ. The company shares are currently up 26.14% to $0.820.
Jingwei International Limited (NASDAQ: JNGW) shares which saw the daily high of $5.10 early today are currently up 16.83% to $4.79. C&D Technologies Inc (NYSE: CHP) is one of the biggest losers on NYSE. The company shares are currently down 15% to $0.425.
Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) today unveiled its super fast and type streaming search enable ‘Google Instant’ search. The company shares are currently up 1.46% to $470.92.
Gold which started the day with green has lost its initial charm and is currently down 0.17% to 1,257.10 an ounce. While oil which started the day in red is currently trading in green and is up 0.82% to $74.70 a barrel.
