(NYSE: BEN) announced a special cash dividend in the amount of $3.00 per share payable on December 20, 2012 to stockholders of record holding shares of common stock at the close of business on December 6, 2012. Boyd Gaming Receives Final Regulatory Approval To Acquire Peninsula Gaming Boyd Gaming Corporation (NYSE: BYD) announced that the Kansas Racing and Gaming Commission has approved the Company's proposed acquisition of Peninsula Gaming, LLC. Boyd Gaming has now received all required regulatory approvals required to proceed with the acquisition.  The transaction is expected to close on November 20, 2012. "This is a significant milestone, and we look forward to welcoming the Peninsula team to Boyd Gaming," said Keith Smith, President and Chief Executive Officer of Boyd Gaming.  "The acquisition of Peninsula Gaming will strengthen our Company financially by diversifying our operations, nearly doubling our free cash flow and delivering substantial value for our shareholders."
